Want to learn about First Aid?
Are you a parent or caregiver who is currently considering attending a First Aid Course? Or do you belong to a mothers group where the idea has been discussed but nothing planned yet? Maybe you are a mummy-to-be, eagerly anticipating the birth of your first child? What if you have just hired a nanny to take care of your precious kids? If so, why not book yourself in now for a First Aid training course with SafetyFirstForKids!
Our courses have been specifically developed for someone in your position. We all hope and pray that we will never find ourselves in an emergency situation with our kids. But if that day ever comes, and you have attended one of our hands-on courses, you can be sure you will not regret it! And even if it doesn’t happen to one of your own kids, it certainly won’t hurt to know you have the confidence to deal calmly if one your friends’ kids was in trouble during a play-date.
How can SafetyFirstForKids help me?
Based in Sydney, SafetyFirstForKids delivers the most up-to-date theoretical and practical First Aid knowledge based on the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. As an experienced Intensive Care / Emergency Nurse, Georgie Conroy, Course Director at SafetyFirstForKids, believes that every caregiver of a child should not only know what to do in an emergency, but should also have hands-on experience on how to deliver CPR and deal with choking. By practising these skills during the course, you will feel confident and be able to take control in an emergency.
But what if accidents could be avoided? SafetyFirstForKids also places a major emphasis on prevention. By making you more aware of the hidden dangers lurking around the home, your little ones are less likely to get into trouble in the first place.

Are your First Aid skills up to date?
When did you last refresh your CPR knowledge and skills? Studies have shown that memory of CPR skills and knowledge deteriorate as soon as 3 months after training, even in trained health professionals. So even if you have attended a First Aid course some time in the past, consider coming along to one of our First Aid Refresher courses. These focus on the all-important topics of CPR and Choking – accompanied, of course, with the unique SafetyFirstForKids hands-on practical.
